Star News Group currently offers two podcasts, Monday Edition and Friday Edition, with more podcasts currently in the works. Our podcasts are provided in enhanced audio format, which means that subscribers with video-capable iPods will see images from our publications and Web site as well as hear the audio. To subscribe to any one of our podcasts, just click the appropriate “Subscribe” link and you'll automatically receive a new podcast from us each week in iTunes or your preferred podcast player.

In order to listen to podcasts and/or download them to your MP3 player, you need a program that is capable of subscribing to podcasts. We recommend iTunes from Apple Computer, it’s a free download available for both Windows and Mac platforms.

You can think of a podcast as a TV show that broadcasts a new episode each week. When you subscribe to our “show,” we “broadcast” our latest episode (a digital audio file) to your computer each week, so that you can listen to it immediately or download it to your portable media player. All you need to enjoy our podcasts is a software program like iTunes that can subscribe to and play our audio files.

If you already have podcast software installed on your computer, the “Subscribe using your preferred podcast reader” link should work fine for you; if not, simply right-click (Control-click on Macs) on the “preferred podcast reader” link and select “Copy” or “Copy Shortcut.” Then, launch your podcasting software and paste in our link. If you use iTunes but for some reason you can’t get the “Subscribe using iTunes” link to work, copy the link as described above, then go to the “Advanced: Subscribe to Podcast” menu in iTunes, and paste the link there.
